ACA Reporting reminder for Applicable Large Employers (50+ Full-time equivalents)

This is a friendly reminder of upcoming compliance dates for ACA Reporting (1094 and 1095 forms)

March 31, 2016: Organizations that meet the criteria of Applicable Large Employers must submit ACA form 1095-C to employees no later than March 31, 2016. Small employers with fewer than 50 employees who are self-insured must submit 1095-B to employees no later than March 31, 2016. This deadline was extended from the original February 1 deadline.

May 31 or June 30, 2016: Applicable Large Employers must submit ACA forms 1094-C and 1095-C to the IRS no later than May 31, 2016 if mailing or by June 30, 2016 if done electronically. (Employers with more than 250 employees are required to complete the form electronically.)

Small employers with fewer than 50 employees who are self-insured must submit ACA forms 1094-B and 1095-B to the IRS no later than May 31, 2016 if mailing or by June 30, 2016 if done electronically.

These deadlines were extended from the original February 29 and March 31 deadlines, respectively.
